Current
The identity was designed for the new cable/satellite network Current, founded by entrepreneur Joel Hyatt and former Vice-President Al Gore. The logotype signals the unique nature of the media initiative, which uses television and the internet to 'democratize' the creation and distribution of news, current events, cultural and other programming. The 'trailing cursor' at the end of of the logotype symbolizes 'awaiting input' (much like the familiar flashing cursor on a computer screen) represents the network's differentiation in that it allows and encourages its audience to contribute programming.Agency: MetaDesign
