I was commissioned by Leroy & Rose to make the logo and some key art for the Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air (the third installment of the Band of Brothers trilogy). Relatively early in the process Apple leaned into a logo that had custom lettering, which eventually became a font that I made for them called Flying Fortress. You can see that the S became slightly different over the development of the typeface.
